A significant highlight of the Resurgence is its KillerWave limb dampeners.

These newly introduced dampeners aim to eliminate vibration, improving accuracy with every shot.

This feature is particularly beneficial for both 3D archery and bowhunting, where precision is crucial.

The Resurgence also offers significant adjustability, accommodating draw lengths from 25 1/2’’ to 31” and available in either a 45-60 lbs. or 55-70 lbs. draw weight variant.

This range of customization ensures that the bow can be adapted to suit archers of different strengths and preferences.

Beyond the bow itself, the Resurgence comes as a ready-to-hunt (RTH) package, complete with a collection of Trophy Ridge accessories.

These include a 4-pin sight, 5-spot quiver, 6″ stabilizer, Whisker Biscuit V, peep sight, and D loop.

This addition makes the Resurgence an excellent choice for those looking for a comprehensive kit that can be used straight out of the box.

In the next section, we'll delve deeper into these features and how they enhance the user's archery experience.

My Personal Experience

As an experienced hunter, I've had the pleasure of using a variety of bows over the years.

But I can confidently say that the Resurgence has left a significant impression on me.

Here's why.

The first time I held the Resurgence, I was immediately struck by its balanced feel.

The weight distribution is just right, and at under 4 lbs., it's light enough for long hunting trips but substantial enough to provide stability.

The 32″ axle-to-axle length contributes to this balance, making it comfortable to hold and aim1.

I remember the first time I drew the string back on the Resurgence.

The smoothness of the draw cycle was noticeable.

Thanks to the DHC 80% hybrid cam system, the bow offered little resistance, and the 80% let-off ensured that holding the full draw weight was not a strain.

This feature allowed me to focus more on aiming and less on the physical exertion of drawing the bow, a significant advantage when trying to line up the perfect shot on a deer or elk.

One particular hunting trip stands out in my memory.

I was in a tree stand, waiting patiently for a white-tailed deer to come within range.

The deer was cautious, stopping frequently to scan its surroundings.

When it finally stepped into my shooting lane, I was ready.

I slowly drew back the Resurgence, grateful for the silent and smooth draw cycle that didn't alert the deer.

The solid back wall of the bow provided a consistent anchor point, and I was able to hold my draw with ease thanks to the generous let-off.

I took a moment to line up my shot using the Trophy Ridge 4-pin sight included in the RTH package.

The sight was clear, and the pins were easy to adjust.

I released the arrow, and the Resurgence sent it flying at an impressive speed towards the deer.

The bow's vibration-eliminating KillerWave limb dampener system came into play here, as I felt minimal kickback upon release, allowing me to keep my focus on the target and not on managing the bow's reaction.

I was pleased to see the arrow hit its mark.

The deer didn't go far before it went down.

I couldn't help but attribute this successful hunt in large part to the Resurgence.

Its combination of speed, adjustability, and stability proved to be a game-changer.

The accessories included in the RTH package, especially the sight and stabilizer, significantly contributed to my accuracy and confidence.

Since that hunting trip, the Resurgence has become my go-to bow.

Its versatility, performance, and the comprehensive Trophy Ridge accessory bundle make it a truly outstanding package for any hunter, and I look forward to many more successful hunts with it.

Price and Value for Money

The Resurgence is priced at $599.99.

Given the wealth of features and accessories it offers, it positions itself as a high-value product in the market.

To understand its value for money, it's worth considering the individual components of the package.

Firstly, the bow itself, with its advanced DHC 80% hybrid cam system, vibration-eliminating KillerWave limb dampener system, and extensive adjustability, stands as a strong product on its own1.

However, the Resurgence doesn't stop at providing just a high-quality bow.

It also includes a comprehensive set of Trophy Ridge accessories as part of its ready-to-hunt (RTH) package.

This includes a 4-pin sight, 5-spot quiver, 6″ stabilizer, Whisker Biscuit V, peep sight, and D loop.

Each of these accessories adds value to the package, saving the archer the time, effort, and additional cost of procuring these necessary components separately1.

While the Resurgence might seem like a significant investment compared to entry-level bows, its quality, performance, and included accessories offer excellent value for the price.

It's a product that caters to both beginners seeking a comprehensive starter kit and experienced archers looking for a high-performing bow with all the necessary accessories included.

Therefore, in terms of price and value for money, the Resurgence appears to be a compelling option.

The Drawbacks

As much as I appreciate the Resurgence for its numerous strengths, it is only fair to acknowledge that no product is without its drawbacks.

One minor issue that I've encountered with the Resurgence pertains to the adjustment process.

While the bow does offer extensive adjustability, which is a significant advantage, the process of making these adjustments isn't always as straightforward as I'd like.

On one occasion, I wanted to tweak the draw length slightly to better suit my shooting style.

I found that the process required a bit more time and patience than I initially anticipated.

Now, this isn't to say that the adjustment process is overly complicated.

However, if you're new to archery or not particularly handy with such adjustments, you might find it slightly challenging at first.

It might be beneficial to have a professional or an experienced friend assist you with these adjustments or to spend some time familiarizing yourself with the process before attempting it.

Despite this minor hiccup, it's important to remember that the Resurgence's adjustability is a big part of its appeal, offering a level of customization that can be tailored to the individual archer's needs.

So while the adjustment process may be a slight drawback, the ability to adjust the bow extensively is a significant advantage that, in my opinion, more than compensates for it.

All in all, the Resurgence remains a reliable and high-performing bow that offers excellent value for its price.

Should You Buy? Concluding the Review

To wrap up this review, let's circle back to the key question: should you buy the Resurgence?

In my opinion, the answer is a resounding yes.

Despite the minor drawback related to the adjustment process, the Resurgence stands as a top-tier compound bow that offers excellent value for its price.

The Resurgence's high-speed performance, with speeds up to 335 FPS, combined with its advanced DHC 80% hybrid cam system, ensures a smooth and comfortable draw cycle that won't fatigue you on long hunting trips or during extended practice sessions.

Further enhancing its performance, the Resurgence incorporates the innovative KillerWave limb dampener system to eliminate vibration, thereby improving your accuracy with each shot.

This feature is especially valuable for 3D archery and bowhunting, where precision can make all the difference.

One of the Resurgence's most attractive features is its adjustability.

With draw lengths from 25 1/2’’ to 31” and two draw weight options (45-60 lbs. or 55-70 lbs.), this bow caters to a wide range of archers with varying strengths and preferences1.

Last but not least, the Resurgence offers a complete ready-to-hunt (RTH) package, inclusive of Trophy Ridge accessories.

The convenience and value added by these accessories cannot be overstated, making the Resurgence not just a bow, but a comprehensive kit that sets you up for success right out of the box1.

In conclusion, whether you're an experienced archer looking for a high-performing bow or a beginner seeking a comprehensive starter kit, the Resurgence offers exceptional value.

Its combination of performance, adjustability, and quality accessories make it a compelling choice that's worth the investment.

So, should you buy the Resurgence? Absolutely.

It's a versatile, high-quality bow that offers excellent value for its price, and it's one investment you're unlikely to regret.
